Sony Xperia 5 IV rumor claims the phone will use a TSMC-sourced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset

Even though it hit store shelves late (really late in some places), the Xperia 5 III is nearly a year old now – it was announced in April of 2021. This means a replacement should be around the corner and one Weibo user claims to have inside info on what the new phone will be like. The Sony Xperia 5 IV will allegedly stick to the 6.1” screen diagonal, so the phone should be roughly the same size as the current model.
