WhatsApp Adds Ability to View Status Updates in Chat List For Some Android Beta Testers: Report

WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.18.17 adds ability for some beta testers to view the status updates within the chat history. This features was reportedly under development earlier. Although, the feature is currently available to some beta testers, it is reportedly expected to be rolled out to more testers over the coming weeks.
