The vivo Y78+ will support 44W fast charging

A couple of weeks ago TENAA posted info showing that the vivo Y78+ (V2271A) will have a 5,000mAh battery, matching the capacity of the Y77. That model from a year ago supported only relatively slow charging, 18W, but thanks to the 3C we know that this year’s model is bringing an upgrade. The Y78+ will support 44W fast charging. That’s a pretty common power rating for vivos. The Y55, for example, could get its 5,000mAh battery to half full in 27 minutes, so we expect similar performance from the new Y-series model.
