Google Play to Enforce Guidelines to Eliminate Misleading, Spam, or Clone Apps Later This Year

The new strict policy change brings restrictions to app metadata and new guidelines for Store listing preview assets. For instance, an app cannot use graphic or text to indicate ranking, promote deals, incentivise deals, or for any tactics that can be misleading to users. These changes are set to go into effect in the ‘second half of 2021’.
